Key Responsibilities:
1. Design
- Develop and oversee architectural and interior design concepts for stores, ensuring they align with brand identity, customer experience, and operational functionality.
- Lead the creation of design prototypes for new concepts or renovations, considering market trends, customer preferences, and operational needs.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and branding teams to ensure cohesive aesthetics and functionality.
- Evaluate design proposals, blueprints, and layouts, providing feedback to enhance space utilization and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
2. Construction
- Manage end-to-end construction processes, including planning, contractor selection, project execution, and quality assurance.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring delivery on time and within scope.
- Oversee site assessments, feasibility studies, and construction documentation to minimize risks and unforeseen challenges.
- Establish and maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers, and consultants, negotiating terms and ensuring adherence to project standards.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure all construction meets brand and regulatory standards.
3. Expansion
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of expansion initiatives, focusing on opening new outlets and remodeling existing ones.
- Conduct market research and site evaluations to identify optimal locations for new stores.
- Work closely with the real estate team to assess site potential, negotiate leases, and manage permitting processes.
- Develop scalable processes and templates for store rollouts to support rapid expansion goals.
- Monitor post-opening performance to assess the effectiveness of design and construction decisions, incorporating feedback into future projects.
Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a key advisor to the CEO, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of designers, project managers, and construction professionals, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Work closely with finance to ensure budgetary alignment and ROI for all design and construction projects.
- Partner with operations, marketing, and supply chain teams to align design and construction goals with overall business objectives.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related field. Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years in design and construction management, preferably in the F&B or retail industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading diverse teams and managing complex, multi-location projects.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and financial analysis for construction projects.
- Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
