HR Business Partner
About the job
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Business Partner to join our team and provide critical support to Director - People - Vietnam - APAC. In this role, you will play a vital role in various People functions, ensuring the effective and efficient management of human resources activities across the Vietnam & Cambodia. You will contribute to the development and implementation of People strategies, policies, and initiatives that align with the company's objectives and values.
Key Accountabilities
Collaborate with Director - People to execute People strategies and initiatives that support business objectives within Vietnam & Cambodia.
Assist in the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding processes.
Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on People policies, procedures, and employment laws to ensure compliance and fairness.
Manage employee relations matters, mediating conflicts, and maintaining a positive working environment.
Coordinate and administer training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date People records and reports, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Participate in compensation and benefits administration, including payroll processing/coordination and benefits enrollment.
Support the implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the region.
Assist in People-related communications and employee engagement activities to foster a strong company culture.
Stay current with human resource trends, best practices, and legal developments to ensure the organization's practices remain competitive and compliant.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a HR Business Partner or similar role, with specific exposure to Vietnam & Cambodia markets.
Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations across Vietnam/Cambodia.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with HR software is advantageous.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Flexible and adaptable mindset in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Fluency in English and Native Vietnamese speaker.
