Junior Software Engineer Python, Typescript, NodeJS

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Junior Software Engineer in our warehouse fulfillment business where approximately 90% of work is remote and 10% on site at our office or warehouse within Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam.

As a Junior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our ERP, back-end web applications, participating in the software development process, and creating new features. You will work closely with the team to ensure the smooth operation of our systems and contribute to
the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop company internal ERP with custom applications, modules, and functionalities.
• Collaborate on designing, writing, reviewing, and testing code.
• Produce clean code.
• Analyze, diagnose and resolve errors related to the applications.
• Research requirements to build API / Connectors with other platforms.

Requirements

• Proficient in Python, JavaScript/Typescript, NodeJS, PostgreSQL
• Understand object-oriented programming language, object modeling and relational database
• Understand versioning and can use GitHub
• Passion for development
• Quick and autonomous learner
• Creative thinker and strategic problem solver
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively, both written and orally
• Can document technical designs, specifications, and processes.

Nice to have

• ≥ 1 year of professional experience
• Development experience with an ERP or similar product
• Knowledgeable with cloud technologies
• Prior experience at a startup / fast growing small business
• Demonstrate an affinity for ERP products that handle Sales, Inventory, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Invoicing, POS, and related use cases.
• Can speak Vietnamese and English well.

Work hours

• Monday to Saturday (9:00 - 12:00 & 13:00 - 18:00)
• Mainly work from home but must travel to the office or go to the factory when site work is required.
