Job Summary
The Mechanical Engineer will be work on all product stages from research and development to design and manufacture, through to installation and final commissioning. The goal is to design and fabricate mechanical components of innovation and excellence.
Principal Responsibilities
To be a successful, the mechanical engineer should be mathematically and mechanically minded and have strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. A top-notch mechanical engineer should possess detailed knowledge of engineering and design principles and be able to find creative solutions to technical problems., which could include the following:
• Meeting with clients and design teams to determine mechanical applications and requirements. Conducting research to inform the design and engineering methods required for the mechanical systems. Perform a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement)
• Performing computer simulations and experiments to virtually test and refine the designs. Overseeing the development and manufacturing of physical prototypes for testing.
• Preparing documentation of critical analysis and providing suggestions for correcting errors.
• Preparing technical reports, design specifications documents, and operational manuals.
• Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Liaising with clients, designers, engineers, and manufacturers to ensure coherence.
