- Comprehend and translate business requirements into technical specifications and build elegant, efficient, and scalable solutions based on specifications
- Evaluate network architecture and perform various diagnostic tests.
- Document code, provide progress updates, and conduct code reviews and peer feedback.
- Implement appropriate indexes (B-Tree, Geospatial, Text) for performance improvement
- Implement Mongo Management Service for automating a variety of tasks, including backup/recovery and performance management
- Recommend and implement best practices for Rest API integration framework/model
- Develop MongoDB and API prototypes and proofs of concept
- Implement optimal backup and recovery
- Test code for errors and implement necessary fixes.
- Good command of English (both written/verbal) is essential
- At least 5 years of experience in software & back-end development technologies in general
- BA in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar relevant study
- Specialized technical knowledge of the MongoDB platform or similar NoSQL technologies
- Design and development experience building a reusable REST API model/framework to consume data from and/or push data into MongoDB (or similar technology)
- In depth knowledge of modeling/architectural patterns, governance methodologies, and potential limitations within MongoDB
- Experienced in developing and deploying microservices with Cloud based technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker...)
- Experience in agile scrum-based development process
- Experience as software engineer in a complex, enterprise-level development projects
- Develop architectures that are inherently secure, robust, scalable, modular, API-centric and global.
- Experience with database security management
- Provide executive level support for initiatives, particularly as related to re-use, funding requirements and areas of risk
- Multi-tasking ability essential to handle multiple priorities with minimal direction from management
Salary: Up to 55M
- Probation salary is 100% of official salary
- 13th-month salary and performance review twice a year
