JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Senior Project Consultant, you lead and execute projects in Viet Nam. Due to the innovative and international nature of our projects, this position offers a great opportunity to develop your professional business and communication skills, collaborate with leading experts and work on projects that make a real difference addressing critical water and climate problems in Viet Nam. You are the point of contact for our international and local clients/partners and represent TWA in the Viet Nam water sector network (national and provincial government, universities, NGO's, international embassies, etc.)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage projects independently.
Manage relations with clients and partners on projects.
Coordinate project requirements and deliverables with your local and regional colleagues.
Lead project scoping, planning, implementation, and reporting.
Proactively understand and map opportunities within the Vietnam market.
Network and build relationships with (potential) partners and clients, identifying strategic collaborations.
Identify and pursue business development opportunities, bringing new prospects to The Water Agency.
Contribute to building and developing the team in Viet Nam (recruitment, mentoring junior colleagues).
REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated ability to work independently with a strong commitment to contributing effectively to company objectives from any location.
Proven experience as a Project Consultant with at least 5 years in project management, business development, and networking.
Adept at networking with stakeholders, partners, and clients to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
Willingness to travel regularly within Vietnam for project activities and to foster collaborations and partnerships. Occasional international travel may be required.
Ability to write project progress reports (also in English). The ability to write commercial project proposals is a strong advantage.
High level of honesty, passion, and professionalism in all interactions and deliverables.
Preference to be based in Ho Chi Minh City.
