Ocean Freight InternSchenker Gemadept Logistics (SGL)

Main Accountabilities:
1. General Description
The Trade Lane position is to execute and perform the Global Ocean Freight FCL and/or LCL within Vietnam with special focus on:
- Manage the global ocean freight carrier portfolio & allocation to maximize the country contribution to the global ocean freight VIP program (Volume Incentive Plan)
- The optimization of the Country Ocean freight procurement activities (as part of the global ocean freight LCL procurement activities) and the LCL business structure within Vietnam
- The maximization/optimization of the ocean freight LCL business results of Vietnam
2. Accountable
- Negotiate with carriers and internal teams to procure the best buying rates.
- Efficient procurement in both on-time pricing submission and hit rate ratio, LCL growth in both volume and profit.
- Align, implement, and monitor trade lane LCL budget including monitoring and controlling of LCL volume performance and management of deviations
- Review and promote trade lane ocean freight projects with focus on LCL product strategy
- Process trade lane ocean freight market analysis in close cooperation with Ocean Freight Business Development of Vietnam
- Support country KAM/Sales functions and country ocean freight teams regarding identification and
- acquisition of strategic LCL accounts and with attendance on key customer meetings
- Consulted LCL product-related issues of his/her respective trade lane within Vietnam
- Reporting: weekly & monthly as required by Trade Manager
