Job Responsibilities
The primary function of the "Project Manager - Costume" is to ensure that projects are managed from design concept to completion.
Job content
1. Coordinate with Director of Project Management/Senior Manager and US Product Managers/Designer to determine and assess project needs.
2. Project Management
- Kick-off Meeting and Project Timeline development
- Ongoing maintenance and updating of Google Project Management software (Smartsheets) and Development documentation maintenance and communication.
- Ensure all departments working to meet common timeline
- Consistently follow up with different departments to make sure everyone is on the same page. Make sure all departments have the answers they need to move forward.
- Maintain project through entire development process.
- Follow up regarding customer needs & our ability to provide them
- Track project during production to guarantee on time with shipment
3. Communicate daily with different departments, including but not limited to, product managers, designers, merchandisers, and safety/ compliance.
4. Handle the constant changes & challenges on a daily basis with patience
5. Support to source components / consigned parts within projects
6. Check costume to meet all specification from tech pack
7. Sign off approved sample to suppliers for production release
8. Examine new materials, processes and technology to be used in projects for improvement of cost or production efficiency
