ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Project Planning Manager, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and driving project activities, resources, and timelines to ensure efficient and successful project execution. This role involves breaking down projects into actionable tasks, liaising with stakeholders to define requirements, and managing resources for optimal output.
1. Project Planning & Coordination:
Coordinate Activities & Resources: Organize project management activities, including resources, equipment, information, and project plans.
Task Breakdown: Decompose projects into manageable actions, assign timeframes, and set milestones.
Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate with stakeholders to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
Resource Allocation: Assign and manage resources to enhance efficiency and maximize output.
2. Monitoring & Reporting:
Risk & Issue Reporting: Identify project risks, report outcomes, and escalate issues as per the project plan.
Procurement Oversight: Manage project procurement, ensuring materials and resources are acquired as needed.
Progress Tracking: Monitor ongoing project activities, addressing issues promptly.
Communication Hub: Serve as the primary contact for project status updates to all stakeholders.
Blocker Resolution: Collaborate with the Project Manager to remove project obstacles.
3. Tools & Documentation
Tool Utilization: Use project management tools to track working hours, project timelines, and expenses.
Documentation Maintenance: Create and update comprehensive project documentation, including plans and reports.
Quality Assurance: Ensure project standards and requirements are met by conducting quality checks.
4. Partner & Workflow Coordination
Third-Party Collaboration: Strengthen partnerships with external vendors and researchers to support project goals.
Workflow Coordination: Manage production workflows for one or more products to maintain smooth operations.
Operational Planning: Plan and prioritize tasks to achieve optimal performance and minimize delays.
Supply Chain Knowledge: Have a strong understanding of supply chain processes to support project planning effectively.

Yêu cầu
University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Construction.
At least 3 years of proven experience in factory project management, specifically in facility and utility projects.
Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
Experience with MRP II (Manufacturing Resource Planning).
Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and ERP/SAP systems.
Strong skills in math and statistics.
Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Excellent communication abilities.
At least 3 years of proven experience in factory project management, specifically in facility and utility projects.
Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
Experience with MRP II (Manufacturing Resource Planning).
