QA Specialist (Furniture)

1. Job purpose:
This role manages quality activities with Suppliers & relevant stakeholders to meet Clients' quality requirements & reports to the Home Department Manager
2. Job descriptions:
- Take charge of Technical audits, ensure the factories understand and implement Customer QA requirements in reality.
- Manage technical activities for Home Dept, leading the product standard compliance agenda and educate the whole team for effective costing & product development.
- Review and implement all applicable quality standards, inspection & testing protocols required by Clients & US/EU/UK regulations.
- Guide designers for quality & product construction, KD solution. Manage selected suppliers to construct samples to agreed construction and finish requirements.
- Monitor sampling process, review samples and train QC to ensure full compliance
- Take charge of product quality review & train QC. Conduct Pre-Production Meeting (PPM)
- Technically evaluate and select appropriate factories to meet client design, quality, cost, lead time requirements and production capacity.
- Resolve technical issues inside clients and selected factories in a timely manner.
- Share good practices to help factory be more efficient.
- Work closely with factories and merchandiser from Sketch, CAD, sample to Final Production Products.
- Participation of customers' sourcing/product development trip and meeting.
- Perform other assignments by Line Manager.
