Test Planning and Strategy:
● Execute comprehensive test strategies and plans in collaboration with stakeholders (software developers, product managers..)● Define test objectives, criteria, and priorities based on software requirements and business goals.● Ensure timely execution of test efforts.
Testing:
● Execute hands-on testing, including manual and automated testing, to verify software functionality, performance, and security.● Conduct rigorous regression testing, exploratory testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).● Create accurate and comprehensive test cases and test scriptsTest Automation:● Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks. This includes (but is not limited to) writing test scripts within code to ensure testing of functions within code● Champion test automation best practices and contribute to the growth of automation coverage.● Continuously improve the test automation infrastructure for efficiency and scalability.Defect Management:
● Track defects and work with engineers to resolve them
● Communicate defects and testing progress to stakeholders.
● Test Documentation:
● Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.● Ensure that testing documentation is up-to-date and accessible to the team.
