The Quality Manager will supervise and manage all quality assurance activities in our new factory in Vietnam. This includes overseeing textile processing, plastic injection, and assembly processes to ensure that all products meet the highest quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing quality in a manufacturing environment, particularly with baby products, and will be proficient in ISO 9001 management systems.
- Quality assurance planning: Collaborate harmoniously with cross-functional teams, including operation/production, engineering, and support functions, to develop comprehensive quality assurance plans for ongoing production and new products.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and chemical requirements specific to baby products. Cooperate with the company's sourcing team during the processes of sourcing and approving new raw materials suppliers.
- Develop, implement, and maintain ISO 9001 management systems. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and chemical requirements specific but not limited to baby and juvenile products. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Documentation and reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, inspection reports, and quality records. Prepare regular reports on quality performance metrics for management review.
- Training and development: Develop and deliver training programs on quality control methodologies, techniques, and best practices to ensure a consistent understanding and implementation across the organization. Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Manage customer complaints and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues and later Prepare quality reports and present findings to senior management.
- Statistical analysis and data management: Collect, analyze, and interpret quality-related data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Utilize statistical tools and techniques to monitor process capability and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Continuous improvement initiatives: Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing and process optimization. Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
