KTDC IELTS is a passionate and growing education company dedicated to providing high-quality IELTS training. We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full accounting cycle:
- Process accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements.
- Prepare general ledger entries.
- Manage payroll, C and B
- Generate accurate and timely financial reports:
- Create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including:
- Cash flow statements.
- Profit and loss (P&L) statements.
- Income statements
- Balance sheets
- Create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including:
- Analyze financial data and trends:
- Identify and interpret key financial metrics.
- Prepare variance reports and financial forecasts.
- Assist with budgeting and cost control initiatives.
- Ensure regulatory compliance:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records according to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- File all required tax returns and other regulatory filings.
- Support the management team:
- Provide financial analysis and insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Maintain clear and concise financial records for audits.
- Collaborate with other departments on financial matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the education sector
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
