Target of position: Senior Import Purchasing is leading the company's procurement process which is responsible for buying all the goods and materials the company needs to serve items and offer goods for sale - and to do so in a timely and organized manner for supply chain.
1. Responsibilities/ Job Description.
A. Main tasks
Developing and implementing import purchasing strategies.;
Managing daily purchasing team activities, coordinate the order issues;
Following up purchase orders, controlling purchasing planning and shipping schedules
Negotiating Incoterm with suppliers, managing purchasing cost;
Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation;
Ensuring that all procured items meet the required lead time, quality standards and specifications;
Training new employees in the purchasing process and how to use the purchasing system;
Handling suppliers account for ensure the supply chain;
B. Extra tasks
Make periodic reports and review KPIs Quarterly;
Working to improve purchasing systems and processes;
