Shipping OfficerPentland Asia

As a Shipping Officer is responsible for shipping arrangement and maintain system records in timely basis. Assist to support daily operation including LSPs, Vendors and factories for optimal services to support business development. This role is also required to working with operation team in order to ensure logistics process go smoothly.
Key responsibilities
• Follow up daily shipments, overseas order and booking arrangement
• Monitor backlog for following up outstanding POs or documents with related parties
• Act as a main interface to both internal and external parties to support the destination requirements and in/out shipping activities
• Able to handle full set of I/E shipping documents and L/C banking documents independently
• Fulfil overseas and China customs requirement to ensure shipments delivered on time
• Handle scanning, filing as well as checking original shipping documents
• Work with internal and external parties to maintain a smooth operation of incoming shipments and unloading, handle goods receiving and prepare billings
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned
