OPEN TO: All Interested Candidates
POSITION: Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (HRO)
OPEN PERIOD: December 18, 2024 - January 2, 2025
WORK HOURS: Full-time, 40 hours/week.
STARTING
BASIC SALARY: US $25,836/year
ALLOWANCE AND BENEFITS: Tet Bonus, annual salary increase, local social security system, supplemental health insurance, other allowance, and benefits.
BASIC FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
Incumbent serves as senior Mission-wide local advisor to provide vision and leadership in carrying out human resources program management and objectives to serve more than a thousand personnel including US Direct hires, locally employed staff, contractors and eligible family members and different U.S. Government (USG) agencies covering a wide range of human resources programs including recruitment, orientation program, on-boarding and off-boarding, compensation and benefits, position classification, performance management, additional medical benefit (Global Medical Coverage - GMC), employee relation, records management, awards program, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution and event organization activities.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Option 1:
Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources Administration or Management, or host government equivalent is required.
Experience: At least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of human resources management with one year of managerial and supervisory experience is required.
Option 2:
Education: At least 2 years college or university studies (no specific field required).
Experience: At least seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of human resources management with one year of managerial and supervisory experience is required.
Languages:
• Fluent in Speaking/Reading/Writing English is required. (This will be tested.)
• Fluent in Speaking/Reading/Writing Vietnamese is required.
