Technical Designer (Garment)

• Measure samples received from prototype stage through pre-production and prepare for fitting• Audit construction and quality of product to ensure samples have proper construction for garment category and fabrication• Ability to communicate fit and balance issues via pattern diagram or directly on pattern• Execute fit comments in a timely manner to ensure the proper process aligned with production and action timelines• Create easily understandable comments using written and visual methods• Work closely with cross-functioning teams to ensure all information is correct• Collaborate with cross-functioning teams to gain clear direction and consensus of fit intent• Maintain professional and timely email correspondence with factory and global brands• Identify potential product, quality, and costing issues and make appropriate recommendations• Track and manage workflow and workload for own product
