The applicant will ideally possess all, if not most of the following:
Language
Strong English is essential.
Adobe Creative Suite Proficiency
Adobe Photoshop: Image editing, cropping/manipulation, and composition
Adobe Illustrator: Vector graphics creation, logo design, and illustration.
Adobe InDesign: Layout design for print and digital media, including brochures, magazines, and websites. They'll be responsible for maintaining and updating existing design documents, such as catalogues and sales sheets. This will involve tasks like adding new products, modifying layouts, and ensuring consistency with our brand guidelines. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently within InDesign's environment are essential for this role.
Adobe Premiere Pro: Thorough understanding of video editing techniques, motion graphics, and audio editing. They'll need to be able to efficiently create visually appealing and attention-grabbing videos that resonate with our target audience and align with our brand's messaging.
File Formats: A strong understanding of file formats and their applications in the Adobe Creative Suite. They'll need to be able to choose the most suitable file format for various design projects, such as print materials, digital assets, and web graphics. This includes knowledge of file types like JPEG, PNG, TIFF, PDF, and AI, and their respective advantages and limitations.
Typography
Colour Theory: Basic understanding of colour psychology, harmonies, and combinations.
Layout and Composition: Ability to arrange elements effectively on a page or screen.
- Qualifications & experience: at least 3 years of experience in digital design and prototyping.
