Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the content team to conceptualize and storyboard video projects.
Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready for broadcasting. This includes camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects.
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of video content.
Experiment with styles and techniques, including the design of graphic elements.
Suggest or select music and add necessary sound effects to the video.
Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes' value and contribution to continuity.
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Film Studies, Cinematography, Media Production, or a related field.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
A strong portfolio that demonstrates your video editing skills.
Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling.
Excellent attention to detail and an eye for aesthetic quality.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Good time-management skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
Passionate about travel and culture, specifically with regards to Vietnam.
