Academic Coordinator điều phối học thuật (8months)

THE ROLE: ACADEMIC COORDINATOR - CHUYÊN VIÊN ĐIỀU PHỐI HỌC THUẬT (8-month Temp Contract)
TNE Global is looking for an Academic Coordinator to develop TNE Global English programs; to monitor, supervise, and support the academic teaching team for successful program delivery including high quality Academic English, PTE/IELTS/TOEFL preparatory, and other English programs.
Key Responsibilities include:
Teacher management and support (15%)
Products development and management (20%)
Administration (10%)
Teaching and covering classes (55%)
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND KEY DUTIES
1. Teacher Management (15%)
To run induction sessions for all new teachers.
To assist with communication between TNE Global and the teaching team.
To conduct teacher observations - observe and give feedback to teachers, conduct appraisals, and offer support and advice.
To maintain and monitor teacher professionalism, and report any problems to the HR Department/Country Manager.
To arrange mentoring for teachers new to a level, and act as a mentor to new teachers and teachers new to a level as needed.
To assist in the development, organization, and filling of supplementary materials, ensuring that duplicate/identical materials are available for ongoing classes.
To maintain confidentiality of information exposed to in the course of business regarding students, supervisors or other employees.
To assist with recruiting, training, matching and monitoring mentors and peer tutors.
To maintain, apply, and share up to date knowledge of professional area and pedagogy associated with the discipline.
To participate in training(s)/professional development program(s).
To performs all other duties as assigned.
2. Product Development & Management (20%)
To be responsible for curriculum construction and development of English courses and programs at TNE Global.
To identify, access, and evaluate the multiple learning resources that meet the needs of the assigned learning curriculum.
To manage relevant curriculum resources and records and propose necessary amendments/ alterations/ upgrades in line with learner's and teacher's demands efficiently and effectively.
To conduct necessary research in innovative teaching/e-learning/curriculum designing and propose new ideas for teaching models and curriculum design.
To support Marketing team and Sale team for marketing campaign and product training.
To be well-verse in commercially available placement tests and in proficiency tests for university admissions overseas (including PTE, IELTS, TOEFL and TOEIC).
To collate teacher feedback and liaise regarding any curriculum change.
To liaise with teachers to monitor end of term exam results, reporting any problems to the Country Manager.
To conduct projects assigned by Country Manager.
3. Administration (10%)
To assist with student placement testing.
To liaise with teachers and counsellors on student matters.
To deal with student feedback and filter and report it to the Country Manager as appropriate.
To assist Country Manager in maintaining curriculum quality.
To support and be actively involved any marketing activities or exhibitions conducted by TNE Global.
4. Teaching Hours (55%)
This is dependent on the time of year and can vary from 6 to 20 hours per week plus cover duties for absent teachers.
