ABOUT THE POSITION
The Academic Engagement Manager will report to the Academic Engagement & Student Exchange Head. This post holder will be responsible for implementing academic engagement and student mobility activities between VinUniversity and local and international academic partners aiming to create valuable opportunities such for faculty and students at VinUni.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Academic Engagement
• Implement activities relating to academic engagement and partnership development.
• Arrange the visits of, and meetings with, academic partners and their students/faculty and staff.
• Prepare, revise policy, procedure relating to academic engagement activities.
• Manage global exchange websites and social media, create promotional materials and other publications.
2. Outbound Student Exchange Program, Dual/Joint/Integrated Degree Program
• Manage and administer all aspects of the Outbound Student Exchange Program, Dual/Joint/Integrated Degree programs: planning, budgeting, implementation, daily operational administration, and execution including application and selection process, providing support and guidance to staff/students from VinUni and partner universities, conducting orientation, and monitoring student inquiries through a range of channels, etc.
• Oversee the development of guidance materials on international student mobility and articulation programs for staff and students.
• Identify channels for effective information dissemination.
3. Inbound Student Exchange Program
• Plan, prepare, evaluate proposal, negotiate, arrange agreements, implement, coordinate inbound programs activities including planning, budgeting, implementation, daily operational administration, and execution including providing support and guidance to faculty/staff/students from VinUni and partner university, conduct orientation, and monitor/handle student inquiries through a range of channels, etc.
• Liaise closely and effectively with faculty and departments at VinUni and partner universities to support and deliver program activities.
• Act as the main point of contact for information and guidance on university procedures regarding incoming exchange & visiting students.
4. Governance and Administration
• Maintain good record keeping and data filing. Ensure accurate and timely update of database.
• Prepare reports and presentations from time to time.
5. Other duties as assigned by management.
Yêu cầu
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant academic discipline from a reputable university, master's degree is preferred.
• Overseas education in an English speaking country is desired but not required.
• 5+ year working experience in a reputed international cooperation setting or an academic institution with significant evidence of knowledge and understanding of the national and International student mobility or academic exchange.
• Extensive proven experience of establishing and maintaining international relationships.
• Project management skills and experience.
• Proven record of professional success and working successfully with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience of managing a complex, multi-dimensional workload.
