The Content Specialist is responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing engaging content across digital and offline channels to support brand awareness, audience engagement, lead generation, and business objectives. This role ensures all content aligns with the company's brand voice, marketing strategy, and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute content plans aligned with marketing and business goals.
- Create editorial calendars for digital platforms and marketing campaigns.
- Identify content opportunities based on customer insights, industry trends, and business priorities.
- Ensure consistency of brand messaging and tone of voice across all content.
2. Content Creation
- Produce high-quality content for various platforms, including:
- Website pages
- Blog articles
- Social media posts
- Email marketing campaigns
- Landing pages
- Brochures and marketing collateral
- Video scripts
- Case studies and success stories
- Create compelling and audience-focused copy that drives engagement and conversion.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and multimedia teams to develop visual content.
3. Digital Content Management
- Manage website content updates and publishing schedules.
- Ensure content is optimized for user experience and digital performance.
- Maintain content libraries and brand assets.
- Support content localization and adaptation when necessary.
4. SEO & Content Optimization
- Conduct keyword research and content gap analysis.
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and organic traffic growth.
- Apply on-page SEO best practices.
- Monitor website performance and recommend improvements based on analytics.
5. Social Media Content Development
- Develop engaging content for social media platforms.
- Coordinate posting schedules and content campaigns.
- Monitor audience engagement and social trends.
- Support community engagement and brand conversations.
6. Campaign Support
- Collaborate with marketing teams to support product launches, promotional campaigns, and employer branding initiatives.
- Develop campaign messaging and content assets.

- Track content performance metrics.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, English, Business, or related fields.
Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in content creation, content marketing, communications, or digital marketing.
- Experience managing multi-channel content campaigns.
- Portfolio demonstrating strong writing and storytelling capabilities.
- Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, etc.) is preferred.
