Position Purpose Statement:
As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for delivering profitable growth with designated accounts through the articulation and delivery of superior value propositions, new product development, strategic pricing, and utilization of effective prospecting and strategic selling skills
1.Revenue and Margin Growth
• Develop solid multi-level, cross-functional customer relationships and secure strategic alignment, to promote BJC Glass VN glass as the premium, best total value packaging supplier.
• Identify customer needs and drive opportunities in line with BJC Glass VN business strategy, category, portfolio, and investment plans.
• Execute customer contract process, including negotiate contract, obtain required approvals for all new or amended contracts, finalize contract documentation, and monitor implementation of all obligations by all parties under the contract.
• Serve as the primary customer contact for all business issues, including significant technical and supply issues.
• Strictly follow the company policy on customer Database and Relationship Management.
• Conduct regular internal and Account Plan reviews to ensure Plan to objectives delivery are in alignment and propose strategic changes in event of misalignment or diversion due to valid reasons.
• Lead the BJC Glass VN team to solve customer complaints (product and services) in the context of maintaining on-going supply and profitability of the
• Act as final gatekeeper for customer's collection and/or bad debt after credit control and customer services as per company procedure.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customers' overall business (competitive environment, growth strategy, productivity, profitability).
• Review of customers and products against the strategic pricing and contribution targets and address anomalies - and has proposal for improving sales volume, revenue, and margin in alignment with the Marketing Plan.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales volume, revenue, and margin targets for the designated accounts.
2. New
Business Development with the designated accounts
• Identify profitable new business opportunities at existing accounts and manage projects to completion to the satisfaction of customer.
• Ensure detailed brief and effective liaison between design, marketing, pricing, supply chain, QA/QC, and production personnel both internally and externally.
• Propose plan for the new product development and implement the approved plan.
3. New Business Development within the designated segment
• Identify new business opportunities in the designated segment.
• Propose pricing and negotiation plan to win new business
4. Market Intelligence & Forecast insurance
• Provide the direct Line Manager with accurate relevant market intelligence in a timely manner.
• Translate the market intelligence into recommendations and contribute to the development of business strategy together with the direct Line Manager & other relevant parties.
• Develop and maintain accurate monthly, quarterly and annual rolling forecasts working in liaison with Demand Planning.
• Monitor, update shifts in demand and work to ensure supply issues are identified and effectively resolved in conjunction with relevant parties.
