Position Overview

As an Accounting Intern, you will be learning about all facets of an accounting cycle by supporting our senior Accountants with daily tasks and activities.
You can expect to learn about new bookkeeping tools and software, prepare journal entries, track and analyse transactions, prepare transactions for financial reports while staying up-to-date with relevant accounting standards and technological developments and more.
What does a successful Accounting Intern look like?
Shadow members of the Accounting department
You will be putting your knowledge into practice by supporting members of the Accounting team in their duties. As you will be handling sensitive, confidential financial information, you are required to uphold integrity and fairness in your daily work.
Additionally, you are detail-oriented and comfortable with using spreadsheets to record, track, and compile information.
Post journal entries
Support Accounts Receivables and Payable teams to maintain accurate and complete financial records
Reconcile bank statements, balance sheet accounts
Process expense claims
Track, compile, and prepare information
Assist with month-end financial reports
