Overview: The role is to work closely with System Engineering to understand SYS1 / SYS2 / SYS3 requirements and provides technical guidance to Hardware and Software teams to ensure a consistent, safe, and production-ready system design.
Responsibilities:
• Lead high-performance SoC-based ECU architecture (compute, memory, power, and interfaces)
• Guide and align Hardware and Software teams on system design, interfaces, and implementation strategy
• Drive HW/SW partitioning, inter-processor communication, and safety concepts
• Ensure compliance with ISO 26262, cybersecurity, and OEM architecture standards
• Some international travel & training in overseas required
• Support department manager for any urgent task.
• Comply with company regulations.
• Work with data system managerment (Codebeamer, Jira, TMS).
• Make sure the design follows the project plan.
• BS/MS/PhD in
Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or related discipline is required
• Over 7 years of experience in related fields
• Experience with complete product development cycle is preferred
• Broad experience in Microprocessor, Sensors, Camera, Radar, Lidar, high speed interface
• Proven experience in ECU or domain controller architecture
• Strong expertise with high-performance automotive SoCs
• Solid understanding of L2+ and L3 ADAS system architectures
• Experience in functional safety-oriented ECU design
• Have SOC experience (Qualcomm, NVDIA, TI, Renesas, etc.)
• Passion in engineering, good attitude, ability to learn new technology and process.
• Self motivated, good discipline, good problem solving with analytical and logical thinking.
• Ability to work independently as well as with team members.
• Ability to travel abroad.
• Good at English communications skills, both verbal and writing
• Good project presentation.
• Good skills in using MS office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Viso, Project plan).
• Knowledge in product design. Knowledge in Automotive domain is mandatory.
