AI Business Analyst Intern

1. ABOUT AFFIC AI
Affic AI is a Ho Chi Minh City based company building AI powered marketing systems for traditional small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across Vietnam, and the global market. Our flagship product, "The AI CMO," combines AI agents, automation, and human oversight to diagnose a business's marketing funnel, deploy the right mix of AI tools, and execute traffic and conversion campaigns on the client's behalf.
We work directly with active clients, from dental clinics to educational networks to F&B chains, helping them grow using AI systems most agencies have not yet adopted. We are a small, fast moving team that values ownership, trust, and learning by doing.
2. ROLE OVERVIEW
Affic AI is seeking an AI Business Analyst Intern to help operate, monitor, and continuously improve the AI systems that power our clients' marketing and growth results. This is not a traditional business analyst internship: the role centers on working directly inside live AI agents and automation workflows, reading how they behave, and turning that into concrete improvements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, applying what you learn to real client projects from day one.
3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
AI Ops & Prompting: Monitor the Gateway system and continuously test, refine, and optimize AI prompts to adapt to changing business logic.
Project Coordination: Track cross-functional deliverables between Tech/AI, Marketing, and Operations; maintain meeting minutes and ensure operational follow-throughs across teams.
Data Operations: Clean, audit, and reconcile sales funnel data across internal spreadsheets, CRM platforms, and marketing channels to ensure high data integrity for Sales and Operations teams.
Process Documentation & SOPs: Draft, standardize, and maintain operational templates (client briefs, quotation templates, technical requests) and write clear user guides / SOPs for internal teams.
System Optimization: Monitor and optimize existing automation workflows, with a focus on proactive error troubleshooting and prompt resolution.
Performance Reporting: Deliver comprehensive daily updates and operational performance reports to key stakeholders.
4. REQUIREMENTS
Tech-savvy & Prompting skills: Hands-on experience with modern AI tools / LLMs and a strong logical mindset for prompt engineering.
High proficiency in spreadsheet tools (functions, data logic) and a system-oriented mindset.
Strong interest in AI, automation, and technology.
Takes ownership, pays attention to details, proactive, follows through on tasks.
Willing to try, fail, learn, and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment where things can change quickly.
Able to work independently, think critically.
Current student or recent graduate in a relevant field. Strong analytical mindset and good English communication are expected; familiar with Business/Product/Operations, technical knowledge is a plus.
