Role Overview
We are looking for engineers who can own features end-to-end, from AI-assisted development and implementation to testing, CI/CD, deployment, and production monitoring.The role combines
Software Engineering, AI/Agentic Engineering, Architecture, and DevOps/Platform responsibilities, with scope depending on seniority.
Candidate must base in Hanoi and work full-time in VMO's Office
We're looking for several positions:
Strong Software Engineering / Full-stack background with the ability to own features from development to production.
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development / AIX tools across the software development lifecycle.
Strong understanding of system design, software architecture, and engineering best practices.
Experience with unit testing, TDD, and automated E2E testing; Playwright is a plus.
Ability to work with CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, containers, and production systems.
Understanding of AI governance, security, traceability, and reliable AI-assisted development.
Comfortable working in an Agile environment and collaborating with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders.
Strong ownership mindset: able to define, implement, test, review, and ship features with clear technical evidence.
English fluent
Technical Skills
Frontend: React, [protected info]
Backend: Java, .NET, Python, Go, [protected info] or similar
Strong knowledge of software architecture, APIs, testing, and maintainable code.
Senior-Level Expectations (For Senior / Lead-level candidates)
Own technical architecture and major engineering decisions.
Define technical scope and Definition of Done.
Review AI-assisted implementations and ensure engineering quality.
Design scalable components, interfaces, and system architecture.
Establish technical standards, governance, CI/CD, and production readiness.
Mentor other engineers and drive continuous improvement.
Nice to HaveExperience with legacy system modernization: VB/VBA, COBOL, Fortran, C/C++, etc.
Experience in Healthcare, Insurance, Manufacturing, IoT, or Education.
Experience working with large-scale enterprise systems.
Experience building or operating AI/agentic platforms.
