About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Air Cargo Operations Assistant Manager to support and oversee daily cargo handling, operations coordination, and service performance. The role ensures smooth and efficient cargo movements, compliance with airline and regulatory standards, and continuous process improvements to enhance operational quality and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and support daily cargo operations, including export, import, and transshipment & SPA activities.
• Coordinate with airlines, ground handling agents, customs, and freight forwarders for efficient cargo flow.
• Monitor flight operations, cargo build-up, and documentation accuracy.
• Ensure full compliance with safety, security, and IATA operational standards.
• Handle irregular operations (offloads, damages, delays) and provide effective resolutions.
• Support capacity planning, space control, and cargo acceptance processes.
• Prepare and analyze operational reports, KPI performance, and service quality data.
• Assist in cost control, process improvement, and vendor performance evaluation.
• Supervise and train operation staff; ensure strong teamwork and productivity.
• Support management in implementing operational strategies and airline policies.
