Independently develop, debug, maintain, and optimize Android Bluetooth and Wi-Fi application features based on product requirements and technical specifications.
Deliver assigned development tasks according to project schedules, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
Evaluate the technical feasibility of software solutions for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi hardware modules based on business and system requirements.
Design, implement, and optimize Android application features related to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Follow engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, version control, and CI/CD processes to ensure software quality and maintainability.
Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to system optimization.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including framework, system, hardware, testing, and product teams, throughout the software development lifecycle.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,
Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
3-5 years of Android application development experience.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience developing Bluetooth and/or Wi-Fi related features on Android.
Strong understanding of Android application architecture, framework, and development tools.
Experience with Qualcomm automotive platforms such as Snapdragon 8155 and/or 8295 is preferred.
Proficient in Android inter-process communication (IPC) mechanisms, including Binder, AIDL, Services, Broadcast Receivers, and Content Providers.
Solid experience with at least two of the following Android modules:
Bluetooth Service
Telephony
Telecom
Proficient in Java with good knowledge of C++.
Experience with Android debugging tools such as Logcat, ADB, Systrace, and Android Studio.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced development environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Android Automotive OS (AAOS) or automotive infotainment systems.
Familiarity with Bluetooth profiles (A2DP, HFP, AVRCP, BLE) and Wi-Fi frameworks.
Experience working with embedded Android systems or automotive software development.
Knowledge of Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, and CI/CD development workflows.
Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
