Art Director

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
† Accomplishes art department work requirements by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching employees.
† Work closely with account team to schedule and monitor all projects.
† Lead multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines.
† Identify creative thinking towards big ideas.
† Visualize concepts and interpret them into design
† Determine which photographs, art, or other design elements to use for event or activation projects.
† Reviews project production factors by studying budget, background information, objectives, presentation approaches, styles, and techniques.
† Review and approve designs, artwork, photography, and graphics developed by staff members before production.
† Present big ideas to clients using a variety of techniques.
† Provides insightful, creative executions which positively impact a client's business.
† Talk to clients to develop an artistic approach and style. Understand a brand's tone and positioning.
† Directly present designs to clients for approval.
† Takes ownership of creative work and leads the design team by example.
† Personally work on the graphic development of the whole product as a part of team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
† Bachelor's degree in advertising, design, graphic arts and/or related experience.
† A very strong professional portfolio.
† At least 04 years agency experience in a deadline orientated environment and 02 years in the same position.
SKILLS:
† Having keen skills of graphic design and relevant software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, 3D Max, Cimena 4D and other programs).
† Strong ideation and conceptual ability.
† Having a extensive awareness of current trends in advertising and graphic design.
† Creativity & art initiative combined with commercial awareness.
† Good business sense and the ability to work on budgets.
† Leadership, teamwork, goal oriented, detail oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator.
† Handling stressful situations and deadline pressure well.
† Having an organised, structured and methodical work style.
† Communication and presentation skill.
† Willingness to work long hours and weekends.
