• Play a key role in managing and growing Garmin fan communities in sports fields including running, triathlon, cycling, golf, and fitness. The candidate will act as an advocate and product expert to influence stakeholders in these sports fields. Main communities include the "Garmin Run Club" and the "Garmin Cycling Club."
• Based on the Asia & local fitness strategy to come up with local community strategy to grow the community of Garmin Vietnam fans in sports fields.
• Plan, execute, organize, and engage in sport events or marketing activations. Lead the execution of marketing related community programs from start to finish, including offline physical events and online FB community club.
• Leverage cross-team support and drive collaboration. (Internal cross-team inc. Sales team/channel marketing team/ Social & PR / Asia PM & Mkt & creative teams; External cross team inc. Event house / coop partners / distributor & dealers / Garmin coach & pacers / media & PR agency on project bases ... etc)
• Lead KOL management. Be the main contact to sponsor and maintain good relationships with athletes/sport event's organizers/sport clubs and ensure maximum brand/product exposure and the fulfillment of their obligations to Garmin.
• Proactively explore partnerships and establish co-branding programs to increase brand awareness and promote Garmin products via Garmin communities.
• Deliver product information and provide training to Garmin coaches, pacers, key stakeholders, and partners.
• Develop the annual training plans for Garmin Run Club.
• Work with external creative
designers to create social materials for Garmin Run Club offline events and community related content for owned social platforms.
• Passionate in running & cycling.
• Preferred if candidate actively joins any of the sport clubs which regularly gather.
• Relevant working experiences in event marketing or sport field at least 4 years.
• Familiar with Garmin products & smartwatch industry.
• Good project management and time management skills in a fast pace working environment.
• Fluent in English and Vietnamese. (Chinese is a plus)
