I. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - CONCEPT, CONSULTING AND MANAGEMENT
Concept and solution design
- Receive customer problems, conduct surveys and analyse technical requirements.
- Design overall concepts-2D/3D layouts, operating processes and technology diagrams-for automated machines, production lines and smart warehouses.
- Select cost-effective and feasible equipment configurations, including PLCs, robots, sensors, vision systems and motion control.
Consulting and presentation
- Advise customers directly and present a persuasive technical solution.
- Prepare technical proposals, bills of quantities and project schedules.
Management and supervision
- Manage the engineering team's design schedule and quality.
- Supervise the transition from concept to detailed design and assembly, ensuring alignment with the original solution.
- Work with Purchasing to evaluate and select suppliers and strategic partners.
II. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency in 3D design tools such as SolidWorks or Inventor for rapid concepts and operating simulations.
- Deep knowledge of automation ecosystems such as Siemens, Rockwell and Mitsubishi and newer technologies including robots, AGVs and Machine Vision.
- Strong systems analysis, technical-risk forecasting and contingency planning.
- Team or project-management experience.
III. SOFT SKILLS
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to read specialist documents and communicate well in English.
- Critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills.
