We are looking for a reliable Tester Manager to ensure all external and internal requirements meet our standards before our product is officially released. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing the quality assurance testing of products, especially in the Banking/ Securities/ Finance domains. This position will work in Hanoi and directly report to the CTO.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Test Manager will oversee the activity of the
tester department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization's products and development processes.
Lead and manage the Testing department, evaluate performance, recommend training and development, resolve conflicts, and build a positive work environment.
Ensuring the team's expertise grows in line with customer requirements and that employees are coached and mentored towards their development goals.
Estimate Testing effort, plan and allocate testing resources for projects
Work with the HR department to build up the testing department.
Take the highest responsibility for strategic planning, implementing, and overseeing the quality assurance testing on the bank or fintech products, as well as daily activities to ensure compliance with procedures and policies, regulatory requirements, and the delivery of good customer outcomes.
Oversee quality across multiple projects and identify and document any risks to the solution in view of the project scope and manage those proactively.
Provide timely and accurate reporting to internal stakeholders and to the customer. Act as a single point of contact for all Testing activity for a project/customer.
Make sure the quality of unit test code by
developers.
Design and manage test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
Formulate strategies to increase productivity.
Review processes & testing tools to ensure that they align with current trends.
Build the product testing process, standardize all related documents and ensure all processes are followed properly.
Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Technology, or a related field.
Experience working across multiple test phases, projects, and systems. Recognized as an expert in their area.
Have at least 8 years of software testing specialization, including 3 years of experience in similar positions.
Knowledge of banking, securities, and fintech.
Experience in mentoring, developing, and recruiting team members with team sizes of at least 5 members.
Practical experience in using tools: Postman, Jmeter
Strong experience in automation tests, performance /stress tests, regression tests, and defect tests.
Experience working in multi-location, multi-country environments
Be able to communication in English.
