MEP Design and Technical Review
• Review and validate electrical and mechanical designs, drawings and technical specifications prepared by consultants and contractors.
• Ensure MEP designs meet operational requirements, Vietnamese standards and PCCC requirements.
• Prepare technical specifications and scopes of work for MEP tender packages.
Procurement Support
• Prepare MEP BOQs, evaluate supplier and contractor quotations, and carry out technical comparisons.
• Support procurement of major plant and equipment, including generators, diesel storage systems, chillers, HVAC, steam systems, compressed air and electrical distribution.
• Coordinate with the
Purchasing team on supplier due diligence, contract terms and delivery schedules.
Installation and Site Supervision
• Supervise electrical and mechanical installation works on site for quality, safety and compliance with approved drawings.
• Monitor MEP progress against the project programme and escalate delays or technical issues.
• Coordinate MEP interfaces with civil works and with factory operations to minimise disruption to production.
Testing, Commissioning and Handover
• Manage testing and commissioning of all MEP systems, witness performance testing and verify results.
• Ensure as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties and certificates are complete at handover.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance team on system handover and operator training.
Compliance and Safety
• Ensure electrical and mechanical installations comply with Vietnamese standards, PCCC requirements and statutory inspection regimes.
• Enforce safe systems of work for electrical works and hot works within operating facilities.
• Bachelor's Degree in
Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or MEP Engineering.
• Construction Practice Certificate - Class II (Hang II) or above in MEP design or construction supervision, issued under Vietnamese regulations.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in MEP works on industrial or factory projects, including installation supervision and commissioning.
• Practical knowledge of power distribution, standby generation, HVAC, chiller and steam systems, and fire protection systems.
• Working knowledge of Vietnamese electrical and PCCC standards.
• Competence in BOQ preparation and technical evaluation of quotations.
• Vietnamese fluency with good working English.
• AutoCAD and MS Office proficiency; MS Project or equivalent an advantage.
• Available for business travel based on project requirements
Working time: Monday to Friday (7:30AM - 5:45PM)
Annual leaves: 14 days/year
Working location: Hirdaramani Viet Nam - FGL - Head Office, Sonadezi Building, Tran Bien Ward, Dong Nai City.
