Role Description
As a BIM developer, your expertise will help to build stable and well-structured applications which help engineers perform their tasks optimally. Additionally, you will use your experience and talent to find solutions for difficult problems to ensure the product is a success.
Responsibilities
Develop BIM applications, plugins, APIs, and automation tools using Python and other relevant programming languages.
Support the development of engineering calculation tools and BIM workflows for platforms such as Revit and Allplan.
Analyze requirements and design implementation solutions using UML and software development best practices.
Collaborate with BIM Engineers, Software Developers, QA, and
Project Managers to deliver efficient BIM solutions.
Develop and maintain BIM standards, coding guidelines, technical documentation, and development best practices.
Manage development activities using Agile/Scrum, Jira, and Bitbucket.
Test, troubleshoot, and optimize BIM applications and automation tools.
Regularly report project progress and present technical solutions to the Line Manager and Software Manager.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in Python and/or C++.
A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science/Architecture/Civil Engineering.
Experience in the development of desktop and web-based applications.
Interested in coding work related to mathematical - geometry calculation (2D/3D/matrix).
Good in Object-Oriented programming skills.
Structured working manor and very good analytical skills.
Team player with good communication skills.
Good problem-solving skills.
Ability to define, organize and prioritize tasks independently.
Good English communication skills.
