It is important that all ArcHesco employees have a clear understanding of the expectations of their duties and responsibilities. This job description outlines the major responsibilities for this role and is a guide to the employee and their managers as to their overall responsibilities. The employee recognizes that they may be required to undertake work that is outside of the specifics of this job description from time to time, as and when required and requested to do so for the good operations of ArcHesco, and they agree to undertake all reasonable and lawful instructions provided to them. Following are the main duties and responsibilities for this position:
Responsibilities
• Liaise and communicate effectively with the Team members and other company staff.
• Perform duties assigned by the Manager/Team Leader associated with the function and operation of the Engineering Department.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure that BIM models are being used effectively to improve design coordination and communication
• Produce REVIT structural drawings to the required ArcHesco standards.
• Coordinate drawing revisions and submissions in accordance with ArcHesco established procedures.
• Undertake a high standard of self checking of drawings and documents produced, as well as assist, with internal quality assurance checking and procedures for work done by other staff in accordance with the ArcHesco quality assurance processes and procedures for Engineering.
• Liaise with project architects, other engineering disciplines, sub-consultants, clients as required.
• Follow and implement the company policies, procedures and work practices.
