We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Contract Logistics Team Leader to lead warehousing operations and project implementation across Vietnam. This role is critical in managing both existing operations and launching new logistics sites, including solution design, resource planning, and execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of local market conditions, regulatory compliance, and operational best practices in Vietnam.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations Management
• Manage daily operations across warehouses to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and customer SLAs.
• Drive performance through KPI tracking, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
• Ensure full compliance with Vietnamese labor and safety regulations and internal standards.
• Act as escalation point for operational issues, providing fast resolution and preventive solutions.
New Warehouse Project Set-up & Solution Design
• Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of new warehouse projects across Vietnam.
• Conduct site evaluations, develop facility layouts, and design operational workflows based on customer requirements.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation from contract award to go-live.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth project execution.
• Prepare SOPs, training materials, and implementation process
Business Continuity & Troubleshooting
• Analyze recurring challenges in operations and implement sustainable improvement plans.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency and cost reduction.
• Monitor risk areas such as labor shortages, equipment reliability, and vendor performance, and develop contingency plans.
Client & Stakeholder Collaboration
• Engage with clients on operational performance, improvement initiatives, and project updates.
• Work closely with the Business Development team to support solution proposals and site readiness for new business opportunities.
• Build strong working relationships with key vendors, service providers, and government authorities as needed.
Team Leadership & Development
• Lead and mentor warehouse supervisors and operational teams.
• Oversee labor planning and ensure adequate training and onboarding for new staff.
• Foster a high-performance culture with focus on accountability, service quality, and employee safety.
