REPORT TO: Strategy & M&A Manager
JOB PURPOSE:
- Work on high-impact Strategy and M&A projects, working closely with senior leadership to support growth opportunities, accelerating De Heus' global expansion and strengthening its leadership in the agribusiness sector.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. M&A and Investment Support
- Support the evaluation of potential acquisitions, partnerships, and investment opportunities
- Build and own financial models and valuation analyses.
- Conduct market, competitor, and target company analysis.
- Prepare investment materials and business cases for senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with local teams to gather insights and validate assumptions.
2. Strategy Development
- Support the development of long-term strategy and strategic priorities
- Structure and analyse key strategic topics such as market entry, expansion, and value chain integration.
- Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations
- Work closely with global and regional teams to drive strategic initiatives.
3. Project & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with
business leaders across regions and functions
- Manage discrete project workstreams independently.
- Contribute to decision-making at senior management level
- Operate in a fast-paced environment with high exposure and impact.
RESULTS:
- High-quality financial models, valuation analyses, and investment materials accurately delivered to support decision-making on potential transactions.
- Key strategic analyses structured and translated into clear, actionable recommendations to drive global and regional strategic initiatives.
- Discrete project workstreams independently and effectively managed through cross-functional collaboration, delivering impactful and timely contributions to senior management decision-making.
