Role Description The Business Development Specialist role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with flexibility for some work from home. The role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, conducting market and competitor research, and managing lead generation activities across multiple channels. The specialist will build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, coordinate with internal technical and delivery teams to develop tailored proposals, and support negotiations to close deals.
Daily responsibilities include preparing presentations and sales materials, maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, tracking performance metrics, and providing responsive customer service throughout the sales cycle. The role also contributes to improving business development processes and collaborating on marketing initiatives that support growth.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills for market research, data interpretation, and opportunity assessment.
Effective communication skills for presenting solutions, writing proposals, and collaborating with stakeholders.
Lead generation and market research skills to identify prospects, qualify leads, and understand client needs.
Customer service skills to build trust, manage expectations, and support long-term client relationships.
Experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in software development or technology services.
Familiarity with CRM systems and basic sales pipeline management.
Ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in English and Vietnamese to engage effectively with local and international clients.
