Business Manager

JOB IN SUMMARY:
The Business Manager is responsible for leading and supervising employees to ensure productivity efficiency and providing direction on how best to handle different tasks while maintaining customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all matters of business. The goal will be to ensure the profitability of business's activities to drive sustainable and long-term development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Leading current business and developing business opportunity/ ideas that tend to growth and prosperity.
• Develop bi-monthly plan basis forecast from the customer and capacity of the supplier.
• Responsible to execute as per plan from PO to Payment.
• Directly responsible for day to day operations post the supplier delivers the goods to us and management/coordination of the on the ground team that does this i.e., ogbs, KAM, accounts and shipping.
• Develop a yearly Monitoring and Evaluation plan and execute the same for Sustainability and organic certification activities of the supplier.
• Directly responsible for the on the ground team overseeing and monitoring sustainability and organic certification activities.
• Keep track of the industry development in Vietnam - competitor activity, new capacities etc.
• Help in scouting to diversify the supplier set and the origin set.
• Maintain excellent relationships with our customers, clients, understand their needs and find sales opportunities.
• Making sure we are on track for the short term and long-term priorities of the business and achieving the financial targets. Ensure proper risk management with customers, forex and market exposures.
• Undertake any other activity as reasonably requested by management.
