Position Summary
As Centre Manager in Hanoi, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective functioning and growth of the centre, with a strong emphasis on operational management,
business development, and academic oversight in the northern region of Vietnam. You will oversee day-to-day operations to maintain efficiency and stability in systems and procedures, including workforce planning, timetabling, and ensuring alignment with local and national educational standards. The Centre Manager will also develop and implement strategies to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities specific to Hanoi, while building relationships with external partners such as local educational institutions, government agencies, and corporate clients. This role requires strong collaboration with stakeholders like the School Manager and heads of programs to ensure high-quality educational delivery and contribute to academic initiatives that support the centre's strategic objectives. As a proactive leader, you will be tasked with balancing multiple priorities and driving the success and long-term growth of the centre in Hanoi. Key Accountabilities
Leadership and Workforce Management
- Oversee recruitment, development, and performance management to ensure an effective and engaged workforce across academic, administrative, and student recruitment teams.
- Foster a positive workplace culture through strategic workforce planning and operational management.
Operations and Facilities Management
- Collaborate with the School Manager to ensure efficient day-to-day operations and workforce allocation.
- Manage campus operations, including maintenance, security, incident management, and local university representation.
- Liaise with School Manager to manage budgeted center spending ensuring financial sustainability and exploring new revenue opportunities.
Corporate Services and External Relations
- Represent SEUP and RMIT University in dealings with the Vietnamese government, local authorities, and corporate partners, in collaboration with relevant RMIT Vietnam staff.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with businesses and organisations, ensuring successful product development and delivery through cross-functional collaboration.
- Serve as the primary contact for prospective clients and partners along with building strong relationships with other educational institutions.
Academic Delivery and Quality Assurance
- Work with Coordinators, Academic English Managers, and Heads of Program to ensure quality and consistency in learning and teaching activities across campuses.
- Ensure compliance with university policies and external regulatory requirements, including NEAS and TEQSA standards.
- Facilitate student-facing activities, such as support services and placement testing.
Student Recruitment and Support
- Enhance the student experience through excellence in engagement, services, and support.
- Oversee staff to ensure high-quality customer service, addressing challenges in collaboration with SEUP and RMIT Vietnam managers.
- Coordinate with RMIT Student Recruitment & Marketing for effective marketing events and activities.
Strategic Objectives
- Contribute to school-wide objectives and projects as directed by executive and management teams.
- Set and implement campus goals, adapting to market trends to meet student and organisational needs.
- Perform additional academic and administrative duties as required.
