ROLE PURPOSE
The Channel & Digital Marketing Head is a mid-senior leadership role responsible for driving Samsung's total D2C business performance across all online and offline marketing channels. The role owns the full-funnel marketing strategy and execution for E-store and retail channels, while overseeing Corporate Digital Marketing (CRM, Performance Media, and Livestream Commerce). This leader orchestrates alignment across Marketing, Sales, and Operations to maximize revenue, ROI, and customer experience across every consumer touchpoint.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategic Leadership & Business Ownership
• Own total D2C business performance across all channels, with full accountability for revenue, ROI, and full-funnel efficiency.
• Define overall D2C strategy, establish channel roles, and set campaign prioritization aligned with Samsung's commercial objectives.
• Govern resource allocation, budget distribution, and cross-functional decision-making across the MKT organization.
• Identify market trends, growth opportunities, and strategic levers to sustain competitive advantage.
2. Channel Marketing Oversight
• Lead integrated campaign planning across all E-store channels (short and long term), ensuring consistency across category, channel, and sell-out execution.
• Set direction for 3PD (third-party digital) and new platform marketing initiatives.
• Drive the development roadmap for the E-store ecosystem and retail touchpoints (SS68 & SSWL).
• Oversee in-store and digital activation - from on-site Dotcom experience to EPP programs and retail campaigns.
• Approve channel calendars, campaign rollout plans, channel allocation, and sell-out mechanics.
3. Corporate Digital Marketing
• Manage the Corp Digital MKT function - spanning CRM lifecycle marketing, performance media (Media agency partnership & contract/GMPD/One Search), and live-commerce
• Approve and align CRM strategies, performance media plans, and livestream commerce strategies.
• Ensure digital investment allocation reflects business priorities and delivers measurable ROAS and channel contribution.
4. Performance Management & Optimization
• Monitor performance across all channels and the full marketing funnel; lead weekly performance reviews and monthly campaign effectiveness reviews.
• Drive continuous optimization of spend, channel mix, and campaign mechanics based on data insights.
• Ensure post-mortems are completed for all major campaigns and findings are fed back into planning cycles.
5. Team Leadership & Organizational Development
• Lead, develop, and retain a team of -16, including two sub-team leads (Channel MKT Lead and Corp Digital MKT Lead).
• Approve hiring plans, assess talent needs, and build capability roadmaps for direct reports.
• Establish a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven thinking.
6. Stakeholder & Budget Governance
• Drive alignment across MKT, Sales, and Ops stakeholders to ensure seamless execution effectiveness.
• Approve MKT strategies and campaign budgets; act as final escalation point for MKT decisions.
• Ensure full budget governance, billing accuracy, and compliance with financial and operational processes.
DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY
• Approve MKT strategies, campaign plans, and channel budgets.
• Allocate resources across Channel MKT and Digital MKT teams.
• Approve hiring needs and organizational design changes within the function.
• Final escalation authority for all marketing decisions under the Corporate Sales & Marketing organization.
• Sign off on channel and funnel performance, with authority to adjust strategy and redirect spend.

Requirements:
• Possess a bachelor degree in Marketing/ Business administration or relevant
• Strong marketing track record with over 5 years of experience in Digital/Channel marketing management.
• Good knowledge of Digital Marketing/Digital Media Planning/ Channel Marketing
• Strong ability to think strategically and implement vision / direction across teams
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership skills; Able to lead internal team members and work closely with external business partners to achieve results
• Strong self-motivated and ability to work under pressure and ambiguity
• Strong Innovation (i.e. search and reapply culture)
• Communicate in English fluently (speaking and writing)

• People leadership - proven track record in building, developing, and retaining high-performing marketing teams.
Technical & Domain Knowledge (a plus)
• Advanced data & attribution - proficiency in marketing analytics, channel attribution modelling, and performance reporting
• Martech ecosystem - familiarity with CRM platforms, media buying tools (GMPD, performance media), Adobe Analytics, and livestream platforms.
