PURPOSE / OBJECTIVES
Provides chemical process support in multiple areas in a manufacturing environment. The process areas include raw materials, production processing and finished product testing and analysis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
• Provides chemical process support in multiple areas in a manufacturing environment including product trials, new chemical trials, product specification new chemical trials.
• Provide technical support for Mineral Fibre operations, including monitoring and evaluating incoming and finished product quality.
• Recorded and analysed changes in chemicals and processes.
• Will function within a divisional and finished product testing and analysis.
• To assume responsibility for all aspects of the chemical process for a manufacturing location.
• Responsible for reporting on the analysis of process parameters, process capability and tests relating to the manufacture of a quality product.
• Laboratory management & chemical analysis to ensured efficient laboratory operations and achieved departmental targets.
• Reports key findings and issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Communicate with other teams and departments within the business are crucial.
• Manage chemical inventory, incoming material receipt and testing, chemical changeover activities.
• Support procurement activities for chemicals, raw materials, equipment and consumables.
• Other tasks as required.
