Job Description
Our client is a foreign invested company, now looking for a Chief Accountant (Manufacturing, 1700 USD, ID22865)
Supervise and guarantee that all financial transactions and operational activities strictly adhere to current Vietnamese financial-tax regulations, IFRS standards, and internal corporate guidelines of the Group.
Complete and directly oversee the submission of periodic (monthly/yearly) financial statements and regulatory settlements to the Board of Management, the Tax Department, and other relevant state authorities, while maintaining data updates on the enterprise management system.
Review, evaluate, and govern payment workflows concerning suppliers, personnel, and state budget obligations.
Authorize and monitor the issuance of Value-Added Tax (VAT) output invoices to customers.
Assume primary responsibility for preparing documentation, addressing inquiries, and finalizing year-end financial audits.
Track the financial standing in Vietnam closely, collaborating alongside the Group Treasury division to optimize liquidity management, cash flow oversight, and reserve treasury planning to support daily operations.
Manage legal documentation and statutory registration procedures for medium- and long-term overseas loans with the State Bank of Vietnam.
Spearhead the formulation of Annual Budgets and financial Forecasts, integrating datasets into the shared management platform.
Maintain productive working relations with banking networks, tax agencies, independent auditors, and the State Bank of Vietnam regarding professional matters.
Ensure absolute compliance with all emerging tax liabilities (PIT, FCT, VAT, CIT).
Optimize, operate, and propose enhancements for internal accounting workflows, presenting recommendations to the Board of Management.
Partner alongside the Board of Management and internal departments to establish and refine internal control policies, mitigating operational risks and aligning business execution with the strategic vision of the Group.
Evaluate financial clauses embedded in commercial agreements and supplier procurement contracts.
Requirement
Female candidate, under 36 years of age.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or Auditing.
At least 5 years of experience in a similar position within manufacturing companies with a diverse product portfolio (preferably in the food industry).
Strong expertise in financial reporting, taxation, and cash flow management.
Proficient in English.
