What will you have to do?
Operational Excellence: Lead all maintenance operations including MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), HVAC, refrigeration, and life-safety systems across 55 luxury units and extensive grounds.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute an aggressive Preventative Maintenance (PM) program to ensure zero downtime in a remote mountain environment.
Sustainability Leadership: Implement energy-saving initiatives and water management systems that align with Meliá's global sustainability goals and the regulations of the National Park.
Asset Management: Oversee CAPEX projects, renovations, and vendor contracts, ensuring all work meets 5-star luxury standards.
Team Development: Mentor and lead a dedicated team of technicians, fostering a culture of "Service Vocation" and technical precision.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure 100% compliance with fire, life, and safety (FLS) standards and local environmental laws
What are we looking for?
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chief Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineer in a 4-5 star luxury hotel or resort. Experience in remote or mountain properties is a significant plus.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of HVAC, boiler systems, wastewater treatment, and building automation.
Leadership Style: A "hands-on" leader who can troubleshoot in the trenches while managing a strategic budget in the office.
Language: Fluency in Vietnamese and proficiency in English (for reporting and brand communication).
