POSITION OVERVIEW
The CEO is the overall leader and strategic driver of UCLA English Academy. This role oversees all departments - Academic, Marketing, Operations, HR, and Finance - ensuring the school delivers educational excellence, sustainable growth, and a strong, reputable brand in Vietnam's English education market. The ideal candidate is a visionary and hands-on leader who combines strategic thinking, operational efficiency, and a genuine passion for education.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategic Leadership
• Develop and execute UCLA English Academy's long-term vision, mission, and growth strategies.
• Set annual business and academic goals aligned with the organization's core values.
• Lead the planning and implementation of new programs, partnerships, and branch expansion.
2. Academic Excellence
• Oversee academic direction in collaboration with the
Academic Manager and Teaching team.
• Ensure teaching quality, curriculum relevance, and student satisfaction.
• Promote innovation in teaching methods and student engagement.
3. Business Operations & Finance
• Manage overall operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
• Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and expense management.
• Evaluate and optimize cost structures while maintaining service quality.
4. Marketing, Branding & Public Relations
• Represent UCLA English Academy as the official brand face in internal and external communications.
• Direct marketing and student recruitment strategies in collaboration with the Marketing Lead.
• Ensure consistent brand identity, reputation management, and media presence.
5. People & Culture
• Build and nurture a strong, collaborative organizational culture.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate department heads and key managers.
• Oversee recruitment, retention, and development of top teaching and administrative talent.
6. Stakeholder Management
• Build partnerships with schools, organizations, and communities.
• Maintain communication with investors, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Report regularly on business performance and organizational health.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 5-10 years of progressive leadership experience in education, business, or management.
• Proven record of managing operations, P&L, and teams of 30+ staff.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Deep understanding of Vietnam's education market and student/parent expectations.
• Fluent in English; Vietnamese proficiency is an advantage.

Reporting Line
Reports directly to the Board of Directors.
