JOB PURPOSE
Ensure full compliance with occupational health, safety, environmental regulations and maintaining a safe workplace and supporting sustainable factory operations
KEY DUTIES:
A. Legal Compliance & Reporting
• Prepare and submit statutory EHS reports to authorities.
• Monitor legal updates and ensure company compliance.
• Prepare factory readiness for government and police inspections.
• Prepare monthly EHS reports for the safety board and quarterly internal reports.
B. Safety Management
• Conduct risk assessment and periodic updates.
• Organize safety inspections and safety walk follow-ups.
• Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Manage PPE risk assessment, issuance and audit.
• Implement LOTO, lifting equipment safety and control programs.
• Supervise inspections for equipment requiring strict safety compliance (forklift, crane, air compressor, pressure tank).
• Manage contractor safety supervision.
D. Environmental Management
• Supervise environmental vendors and waste disposal activities.
• Control chemical management including MSDS and labeling.
• Coordinate workplace environmental monitoring.
E. Health Management
• Organize periodic employee health check programs.
• Follow up medical results and improvement actions.
F. Fire Prevention & Emergency Response
• Manage firefighting equipment inspection and maintenance.
• Organize emergency drills.
• Prepare documents for fire authority audits.
G. Training & Awareness
• Conduct new hire safety training.
• Coordinate mandatory safety training programs.
• Lead safety awareness campaigns.
I. Continuous Improvement
• Lead Kaizen and 5S improvement initiatives related to EHS.
• Other tasks as request.
