Role Purpose
This is a newly established position, offering the opportunity to shape processes and create value. The Cost Analyst will play a key role in improving the accuracy, transparency, and speed of garment costing within Production Preparation. The role will be responsible for generating, analyzing, and maintaining cost calculations in D365FO, ensuring that prices are accurate and up to date for related products and customer orders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Garment Costing & Price Calculation (D365FO)
• Perform cost calculations directly from the garment item.
• Build and maintain standard calculation sheets for auditability and internal review.
• Perform cost comparisons
2. Pricing & Master Data Updates
• Set and update the price on the Garment Master in D365FO.
• Create and maintain Trade Agreements.
• Create Price Offer sheet or customer related price templates, which will be sent to customers as firm and agreed price.
• Ensure prices are correctly updated in Forecast modules.
3. Cost & Profitability Analysis
• Analyze cost drivers across materials, labor, overhead, and efficiency.
• Support commercial teams with insights on margin impacts, cost changes, and price implications.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Production Preparation Department,
Purchasing, R&D, IE, and Sales/KAM teams to improve transparency and understanding of cost structures.
• Act as a costing expert and go-to person for D365FO costing workflows.
5. Reporting & Systems Work
• Develop and maintain cost reports (Excel).
• Support in designing and refining costing procedures, templates, and tools as the role evolves.
