We are looking for a New Product Development specialist to help create and evolve the future of Lovepop Vietnam's NPD team. What you'll work on:
Take ownership, planning and scoping of NPD projects with directives from our US team, while ensuring appropriate objectives, goals, estimations, cost and processes for project completion.
Research and develop new material, new packaging and new form factor for new products, proceed with the appropriate tests to make sure it fits with Lovepop's product and directions.
Work collaboratively with the Design (US-VN), Sourcing, and Production departments to understand and expand manufacturing capabilities.
Create, engineer and test new concepts, ideas, and products whether it be cards, packaging, merchandising, or ambitious special projects with Lovepop's various design channels.
Re-engineering and prototyping for standardization and to improve old and new designs.
Communicate with the US Design/ Marketing team and make sure they are kept up-to-date on all ongoing projects.
Build and continuously improve NPD procedures, work instructions, checklist or relevant documents.
Perform other jobs as assigned by the line manager.
