1. Supports Science Teachers in preparing resources and equipment, operating the experiment and supervising students for experimental activities.
2. Provides individual and small group support to students when required.
3. Provides extra help to students who need support, encouragement and motivation to complete
tasks to their potential.
4. Provides class coverage when the main teacher is unavailable (10 sick days, Fall break and
Winter break).
5. Assists in preparing lessons and materials, and keeping the labs tidy and organized for Science
Teacher during non-instructional time.
6. Participates in translating and interpreting in parent-teacher conferences and other scenarios as
needed.
7. Bridge communication among students, Vietnamese Teachers & Science Teachers in the
classroom.
8. Helps with school events, trips and activities in and beyond the classroom.
9. Carries out supervision duties for classroom and school.
10. Support tasks in a quality and timely manner.
11. Observe students and inform the Science Teachers of any academic concerns.
12. Familiar with the Child Protection Policy and Procedure and Code of Conduct for staff and
follow the information therein.
13. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
1. Bachelor's degree in Science (Physics/Mechanical Engineering/
Electrical Engineering/Automation).
2. Fluent in English communication skills.
3. At least 1 year of experience in teaching; teaching experience in Science is an advantage.
4. Enjoys working with young adults in an educational setting.
5. Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
6. Has a good work ethic and is punctual.
